| The Department of Public
Service provides the following transportation services within the
City of Columbus: |
For after-hour traffic emergencies that require
immediate attention (such as a signal not operating), call (614) 645-7393 or 645-4545.
Major traffic changes such as installation or removal of traffic signals, creation
of permit parking areas, one-way streets and traffic-calming measures are reviewed
at monthly public meetings by
the Columbus Transportation
and Pedestrian Commission. The commission consists of
seven voting members and up to four advisory members. It acts as an advisory board to the
Mayor, City Council and the Public Service Director on significant traffic issues.
Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at
3:30 PM, normally at 109 North Front Street. Public comment is welcome. Call (614) 645-7881 for locations and
agenda items.
For questions on any services, please call our customer service
representatives at (614) 645-3111 or our offices at
